Haileybury School

Client: Haileybury School

Contract Value: £100,000

Haileybury School chose Fire & Security as their Fire Alarm Specialist after being recommended by Felsted School. We are proud to protect this architecturally important site and its staff and pupils.

The 500-acre site now so enjoyed by the Haileybury community was originally bought at auction in October 1805 by the East India Company as they prepared to build new premises to house the expanding East India College in which young men were trained as administrators and civil servants for service in India.

Some 50 years later, the College closed and in 1862 Haileybury and Imperial Service College was established on the same site.

In conjunction with the client and some of the existing fire alarm infrastructure, BBC Fire & Security enhanced the fire alarm systems at Haileybury using Kentec Syncro range of Apollo Protocol Panels and field devices with Aspirating Smoke Detection in architecturally sensitive and also difficult to access areas.
