BBC Fire replace Fire Detection and Alarm System at University of Northampton

Bassett Lowke Halls of Residence

Under competitive tender, BBC Fire Protection was employed to replace and enhance the Fire Detection and Alarm System at Bassett Lowke Halls of Residence, University of Northampton.

In line with the University’s preference, a Notifier ID3000 System was selected and incorporated Optiplex Multisensors which have been proven to reduce the potential for false alarms.

The project involved the stripping out and replacing over 500 devices within a critical 3 week programme.

The system was integrated into a number of other University Buildings via the powerful Notifier ID² Network facility.
