With
the increasing complexity of Buildings and Evacuation
procedures it is at times preferable to alert
people of a Fire Alarm condition by using Spoken
Messages via Speakers distributed throughout the
Building.
In some cases it is a mandatory
requirement of the Licensing Authority that a
Voice Alarm System is installed instead on conventional
Alarm Sounders, particularly where large numbers
of the Public are present, such as Shopping malls.
Transport Terminals, Stadia and Sports Centres.
For smaller systems or upgrading
systems with Conventional Sounders, the 'Cryer'
system is an ideal solution, but where integration
of Public Address, Background Music, and Audio
induction Loops are required the 'Vigil' modular
19" Rack System is the answer.
The 'Vigil' system has a complete
range of Fire rated speakers and volume controls
to suit most applications and environments, in
addition a complete range of Zone, Paging and
Fire Microphones.
Most systems comply with BS5839
Parts 1 & 8, but in addition, systems also
complying with BS7443 and BS6259 are available.
