With systems and components using powerful microprocessors and software it is vital that any system is competently 'setup' and commissioned to ensure optimum performance and compliance with the specification and standards.

BBC Fire Protection offer Commissioning, System Verification and Certification on all their systems, and can provide the additional certification of the Loss Prevention Certification Board which is a requirement of many Insurers and Consultancies.

Using our own skilled and trained Commissioning Engineers, they form part of an autonomous group within BBC Fire Protection, enabling them the independence to provide verification of the design, performance and the general installation.

All our Engineers are equipped with the latest authenticated versions of the manufacturers programming software, and using laptop or hand held pda's are trained and competent to programme the system, conduct tests and finally commission and certificate the system.

After the system certification and handover, the user is trained in the use and operation of the system. On simple systems it is often enough for this to be conducted at the same time as the system handover. On larger more complicated systems, and where there may be more than one person responsible for the system, separate dedicated training sessions may be necessary. BBC Fire Protection offer bespoke training either at the Clients, the Manufacturers or our own premises.

Simple pictographic user instructions are provided to help personnel with very limited aptitiude to safely and correctly operate and interpret the system
